My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This CAT is a member of our Permanent Foster program, and is happily living in a foster home willing to care for him/her. If you would like to help with the cost of care for cats in this program, please consider becoming a 'godpurrent.' For as little as $25 per month, you can help provide veterinary care and food for a special needs cat. Donations can be made by regular mail or online using Paypal. https://www.fandfnm.org/become-a-godpurrent.html For more information, please send an e-mail to felinesandfriendsnm@yahoo.com

HISTORY: TIMMY arrived at F&F in April 2024 when his owners surrendered him to the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department. They knew they could not afford or provide the proper care Timmy needed to live comfortably, so AWD reached out to F&F for help with this special case.
TEMPERAMENT:  At two years old, TIMMY was still young but had already become both deaf and blind by that time. After a thorough vet examination and tests, it was found that TIMMY has a degenerative muscular disease, which has caused his blindness, deafness, difficulty walking and small stature. Despite it all, TIMMY is a sweet boy who craves the use of his other senses, especially smells and touch. He also loves to eat! TIMMY will live out the rest of his days in a permanent foster home, so he can have access to all the medical treatment he needs to remain comfortable and happy.
