My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aries is a spirited 1-year-old Pitbull mix bursting with energy and love. His boundless enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he's always ready for an adventure, whether it's a brisk walk in the park or a game of fetch in the backyard. Aries is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves to snuggle up after a day of play. Aries' ideal home would be one where he can be the star of the show as the only pet. He thrives in an environment where he gets all the attention and love he deserves. Aries would be perfect for an active family or individual who can keep up with his playful spirit and provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy and excitement to your life, Aries is the perfect match for you. Come meet Aries and see if he's the furry friend you've been searching for! If you are interested in Aries, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and text 775-338-6631.November 3, 2024, 4:20 pm

We have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals. We are building a sanctuary which will house adoptable animals and permanent residents.

On occasion we do adoptions at various locations. Check our website or Facebook for details.

More about this shelter

Our mission: To provide safe and loving homes for animals who would otherwise be destined for euthanasia. To provide education regarding responsible pet care guidelines including the importance of training, veterinary care, exercise, socialization and companionship. To promote community awareness of the problems contributing to the vicious cycle of pet overpopulation and provide low cost spay.neuter options.
