My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was with my four young sick kittens at the Bethany Animal Shelter when I came to the attention of PAWS-OK. They came and rescued us and put us in a foster home where we could get some medical attention. Very soon we were feeling oh so much better. I nursed my kittens (DOB 3/13) until we all wnt for our surgeries in mid July. When I came back from the vet that day I said ENOUGH!, no more nursing and my mom said great and gave me my own condo to rest and recover - I am loving it! I am very sweet but a little shy with new people and places until I am sure of their intentions.

PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.

Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.
