My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there!

I'm Nacho Fries, the most stunningly handsome boy you'll ever meet! I'm bursting with energy and love to play, especially with my favorite wand toy-watch me zoom after it at lightning speed! But don't let my playful side fool you; I'm also a snuggle expert who purrs loudly when getting some love.

I'm super friendly and get along great with all my foster friends, even those who aren't my littermates. Come meet me, and let's make every day an adventure full of fun and cuddles!

Nacho Fries has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). FeLV is a virus that weakens the immune system and can lead to a shorter lifespan. Despite this, cats with FeLV are generally just like any other cat and can enjoy a high quality of life with proper care. FeLV cats can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other non-cat animals are perfectly fine! BKB provides FeLV-related medical care and support post-adoption.

Questions? Our team is here to provide all the information and support you need for adopting an FeLV+ kitten.

While it's ideal for kittens to be adopted with a sibling or into a home with another companion animal (FeLV+ cat, FeLV-vaccinated cat, dog, or other animal), for Nacho Fries, it's NOT a requirement.

The adoption fee for a progressive FeLV+ kitten is $50.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
