SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Fiona is a perfect puppy! Not only is she adorable, but she is super sweet and very playful. Fiona came to us with two litter mates in early June from a home that was hoarding dogs. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on these puppies' futures and find them perfect homes! Likely to be about 10 pounds when fully grown, she is a perfect size for most cuddling! Fiona is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and has already received most of her puppy vaccines. And a perfect dog deserves a perfect home! We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this sweet girl! Experience with small dogs and puppies is a plus. A home without larger pets, small children and with a fenced, secure yard will keep Fiona safe and avoid accidents.

Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Fiona and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Fiona at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
