Hi friends! My name is Otto, AKA, Mr. Cute. If you found yourself recently thinking, "hmmmm, I need a young adult cat in my life," look no further than ME. I am sooooo cute, I love attention, playtime- you name it, I'm there! I cannot wait to find a home with lots of space to lounge and play. I haven't been around other kitty friends yet, but I am FIV positive, so talk to your vet to see what they recommend in terms of having all kinds of furry roommates. More research has come out lately with evidence showcasing FIV positive felines can actually be besties with non-positive cats in a home together as long as there is no mating or fighting taking place. As long as I get regular vet care, I can live a long and health life no problem! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
