Say hello to Lester!
Lester came to us as a stray, and now he is ready to find a family! Loving Lester enjoys being with people. He loves getting pets! Lester loves toys, almost as much as he loves finding new scents! This big boy's favorite toys are stuffies! He could lounge around all day with a good stuffy to play with! Lester is a big sweetheart and loves to meet new people. Making new friends is what Lester does best! We have not seen Lester around other dogs, but we believe he would do best with a calm-tempered dog. Lester would do best in a home without cats. If this happy hound is the one for you, please fill out an application for him today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
