Meet Maggie! She was at Nashville Humane as a puppy and adopted at 2 months old. Over 3 years later, Maggie ended up at Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. After failed attempts to contact her previous owner, Maggie made her way back to us. Maggie has a big heart and a contagious spirit. She will greet you with a tail wag and encourage you to give her your best scratch. Maggie has a gentle demeanor and will give you a kiss as a "thank you" for a tasty treat. She has also made doggie friends in our care and prefers leading the play session. This deserving girl is ready to make her way back to the comfort of a home. Maggie looks forward to many more years of cuddles on the couch and adventures with her people! Adopt Maggie!

We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
