DELTA is a 3 year old german shepherd, pit bull mix female. She currently weighs 59 lbs. She is a graduate of our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program and is very, very well trained.
Like many german shepherds, Delta enjoys a "job". She is smart and she is focused. She is also very athletic. Her most outstanding physical characteristic is her ears! They are always held high and on alert! Her most outstanding personality trait is her love of water and deflated basket balls. If you're a lake person, here's your girl! If you've outgrown your school basketball years, and have an old one or two around, here's your girl - she will self-entertain for hours.
Her perfect home with be one with active adults and a fenced in yard. DELTA does need to be the ONLY dog and she says NO to cats. She will be satisfied simply by having her "person" and becoming the most loyal companion in your life.
