Meet Duke, our vibrant 3-year-old canine companion, tipping the scales at a healthy 60 pounds. Duke is an absolute sweetheart who thrives on human interaction and affection. He has an impressive play drive and is particularly fond of balls, eagerly retrieving them for another round of fun. Duke is not just playful but also quite smart—he has already mastered the commands "Sit" and "Lay Down," and he's eager to learn even more. When it comes to outdoor adventures, Duke is a dream. He walks well on a leash, making him an ideal partner for both leisurely strolls and invigorating hikes. If you're looking for a loyal and energetic friend to join you on life's adventures, Duke is ready to step into your heart and home.

More about this shelter
Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
