My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a silly little girl full of personality to keep you on your toes. She is very unsure of new places and noises but when she settles in she comes into full blossom! She is very playful and adventurous- always looking for new things to make her toys. She is learning to like pets but most of the time she prefers to play!

Poppy is pretty scared of newcomers so she would need a slow introduction to any cats or dogs. She would love a home with either her Mom Daisy or her sister Blossom though!

More about this rescue

Saving Lives Animal Rescue is a group of independent people who volunteer together to help the homeless animals within Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties find forever homes. The majority of these animals are looked over for adoption at the shelter, they are the “ left overs” the ones nobody wants and would otherwise be euthanized. They may need a little more love and patience and therefore may spend a lil more time in foster care. Some of our cats are coming out of colonies, either abandoned adults or litters of kittens. Some may even need bottle feeding.
