This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Mila is a beautiful, 10 1/2 yr old, tan & white cattle dog mix looking for her forever home. She had some bad luck with her last adoption from us. We got a call from a shelter in Wisconsin that she was found tied to a pole. A wonderful volunteer from that shelter flew her to Iowa in his personal plane where one of our dedicated volunteers met him to pick her up and bring her back home. She is playful and loves people of all kinds. Mila walks well on a leash, loves to play fetch and does a good job of keeping herself occupied. She's a sweet, fun girl and would love to live out the rest of her life with someone who loves her. Mila cannot be around other dogs so she needs to be the only pet in the home. Can you give Mila the life she so deserves. For more information, email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com or visit https://townandcountryhumanesociety.org/adopt
The adoption fee is $200 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
