My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassie- A sweet, low maintenance, curious and talkative girl with mesmerizing emerald green eyes!

Cassie was found as a stray, then taken in by a foster with her sister, Mimi and her 4 babies. She's pretty independent but enjoys some attention, head pats, chin scratches and belly rubs. A few of her favorite things- Sleeping on the window ledge, cuddlng with her sister and her kittens, and playing with moving toys, bells, balls and sticks. She also loves being outside rolling around on the grass, so she is being trained to walk with a harness (If her adopter has a catio, that would be an added bonus)!

Cassie is also a great communicator and a smart girl In fact, all you need to do is watch her eye contact to tell how long she can be held and how her meows signal when she's ready for a break (like when she wants to go out for a bit on her harness).

If Cassie had a superpower, it would be her super speed, agilty and climbing prowess!

Cassie should do well in a calm household with humans of any age as well as cats and dogs, since she's been exposed to adults, children and other cats and small dogs. She doesn’t like loud noises like blenders or vacuums, but she will just go to a different room rather than run away in fear.

She would love to go to her forever home with her sister, Mimi ( also 2 year old black cat) ,and preference will be given to an adopter who wants both sisters, but she could go alone and would love another cat in her new home.

Cassie thrives on affection and enjoys being petted all over, from her head to her belly and legs. She is a lovely companion who would make a wonderful addition to a caring forever home!

Now the fun part, bring a cat carrier in case you decide to take you cat home!

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Pay Fee

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
