My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JETT is a handsome, loving and affectionate guy. He has long, beautiful ears and he gives the occasional hound howl that makes his foster mom laugh. JETT is loving of other dogs, kids and any person who shows him kindness. He is sensitive to people touching his head and his foster mom seems to think he was abused in the past. JETT loves the water and is a big fan of the outdoors!

JETT was found as a stray with 2 other dogs in a small town in Oklahoma. They were all picked up by animal control and brought to a high kill shelter. Unfortunately, time is limited in the shelters but one of our great fosters stepped up and took all 3 of them home with her!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
