My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Gemini!

I am being fostered with my cousin and BFF, Virgo. We are a bonded pair, because we love each other so much, and will need to be adopted together! I LOVE to play and have lots of fun energy. I like to explore everything and I'm gonna have to approve any sandwich you're eating. I especially like playing with wand toys. I also like batting around toy mice and chasing ping pong balls. But my favorite toy is the new spinny thing. I LOVE that! In fact, foster mom says I have to go to my new forever home with it!

I love to snuggle and when you're not around, I'll have Virgo to sleep with. She's my best playmate and cuddle buddy! I'm very easy to get along with. I really enjoy being around people (especially if you have treats) and will be easy going if you just give me a chance.

I'm not the best around dogs. They just scare me. And I'm never going to be your adventure cat. A sunny window or well-secured catio is ok, but I'm not gonna be one for leash training or outdoor wandering, but did I mention that treats are always my language?!

NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Bitty Kitty Brigade may promote a cat being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat in this posting is NOT a Bitty Kitty Brigade cat and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
