This precious girl is Giverny, a 4-year-old rottie mix who was found as a stray in the worst shape. Giverny was adopted from a local shelter as an 8-week-old puppy and found herself in that same shelter 4 years later, on the brink of death. She was skin and bones, had severe mange and infections to the point where she couldn't even open her mouth to eat. She was rushed to the vet and in their care for weeks, recovering from infections, being fed with a feeding tube, had to be monitored 24/7, and was just so weak. A couple of weeks later and this sweet dog is now thriving in foster. She has a new lease on life, is happy and so affectionate. Her foster describes her as the sweetest dog that they have ever met! She is still working on growing her fur back and will need a dedicated adopter to aid in her recovery going forward! She is completely house trained, leash trained, crate trained, has learned some basic commands such as sit and shake, and is just the most perfectly behaved girl! She loves other dogs and is good with kids. Giverny loves going on walks, but most of all she loves a nice warm bed and some belly rubs. Giverny's rough start has left her with some lasting effects. She has Pemphigus and will need a family that will be dedicated to her medical needs. Giverny is going to make a wonderful best friend to anyone looking to fill their home with unconditional love! We promised Giverny that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.
