Princess is a sweet and curious girl who finds joy in the little things. She loves spending her days watching birds from a sunny windowsill, snuggling up with her feline friends, playing with wand toys, and enjoying relaxing nature videos. She does have her moments of zoomies where she chases around and runs with her kitty friends. She would love a quiet home where she can peacefully enjoy life with her new family.
Princess would love to be adopted with her sister Mindy, her presence helps Princess feel more confident and secure. She may also be able to adjust to a home with another friendly, gentle cat who respects her space and gives her time to warm up.
Princess is very timid with new people and environments and will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs to feel safe. It may take several weeks for her to fully settle in, but once she’s comfortable, she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys sitting with her people and being pet and brushed.
Princess has chronic eye discharge that is always present and has some flare ups. It’s not contagious and doesn’t require medication. While medication can help clear it up, she finds it unpleasant and doesn’t tolerate it well.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative.
She is an FIP Survivor. She received 84 days of antiviral injections and passed an additional 84 day observation period. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
