My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is a three year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is looking for a good home where he can share his love and energy. He was recently hit by a car and because of a good Samaritan, was taken to a vet and is doing much better. He will have scars from the road rash but does not seem to have any other long lasting effects. Sam sat at a vet’s office for months waiting on someone to take him home but no one ever came so now it is our turn to try to help him. Sam is friendly, playful, and energetic. He is enthusiastic when he interacts with people and usually jumps for joy. Despite these manners, Sam is a perfect gentleman and brings a level of happiness and companionship wherever he goes. He does well on a leash and is house and crate trained. Sam is heartworm positive. He does well with most dogs, but will demand a playful response… no grumpy butts in his future. Cats are unknown

More about this rescue

We believe that all animals should be treated with respect in all
circumstances. Our mission is to provide unwanted, abandoned, lost and homeless dogs and cats with the basic needs that they deserve – medical attention, nutrition, special interaction, development and loving care. We endeavor to raise public awareness to the plight of those who can’t speak for themselves and to educate the public regarding overpopulation and the needless euthanasia of dogs and cats.
