My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Chloe is an around 12/13 year old Chihuahua mix. Chloe was surrendered to our rescue in September 2023 when her owner was incarcerated. She was very overweight and had several medical issues that needed to be addressed (heart condition, severe dental disease, hernia) Chloe’s medical needs have been stabilized and she is ready for her forever home. Chloe is a precious and sensitive soul that is looking for a calm home to hang with her person. She loves her person but sadly can be quickly freighted with big movements. She does fine with another chill canine companion that mind their own business. She is fine with cats but initially will chase them if they run. She is a low energy gal that loves to nap and snore. Chloe has an enlarged heart and a heart murmur and is on daily medications to manage these conditions. Chloe is housetrained with consistency but due to her medications, she will need to be let out frequently or she will utilize a potty pad. Chloe does shed and will need regular grooming. Chloe has allergies but maintains with baths and OTC antihistamines.
