My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is approximately 40-45 lbs.  He is social, good with other dogs, and we were told he is house trained (possibly crate trained too).  He keeps his kennel area clean. As part of the adoption he will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Sam is playful, likes toys, and loves human attention.

Anyone interested in him must meet him and complete an application (in person) our application is not online.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
