My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is sweet as candy.  She is approximately 3-1/2-4 yrs old.  Honey is good with other dogs, we were told house and crate trained, and loves human attention.

Honey is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Honey is 33 lbs and will not get any bigger.

Anyone interested in her must meet her and complete an application (in person)--our app is not online.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
