My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Athos!

Sweet Athos was found in a bucket with his siblings on the side of the road in Las Vegas about a month ago. He's been with a rescue since then, gaining weight and recovering from mange (a non-contagious skin condition). Currently, he's enjoying his summer in Reno while Las Vegas shelters are overwhelmed, but he remains under Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League.

We believe Athos is a bulldog/bully mix. At 5 months old, he's as sweet as can be, good with all animals and people, and working on his potty and crate training. Athos will be neutered and ready for adoption soon.

If you're in the Reno/Tahoe area and can offer a loving home for this adorable pup, apply on SNARL's website. Local house checks and meet-and-greets are available!

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
