Phantom is a sweet 2-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on July 2, 2024 after he had been abandoned in his family's apartment after they moved away. Phantom was accompanied by a handsome orange tabby kitty (Osiris) who is most likely his brother.
Phantom has a gray short smooth coat, a tail, and a handsome chubby face with dark golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long gray whiskers.
Phantom appeared to have a quiet, rather shy, personality and was content to continue his afternoon catnap in his stainless steel litterbox while we snapped preliminary photos on July 4, 2024. Many shelter cats seem to take solace snuggled up in those pans since they give a sense of security. Within a few days, Phantom was coming to the door of his cage for attention which makes us happy (smile).
Phantom was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on July 9, 2024. He weighed 9.4 lbs that day. Phantom was given booster vaccines on July 23rd- and August 13, 2024.
Phantom has already been neutered, so he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
We would love to have seen Phantom find another home with his best friend/brother Osiris. Osiris was adopted on August 17, 2024 but Phantom is still waiting for someone to fall in love with him and offer him the home of his dreams. Phantom had new photos taken the day Osiris left our shelter, so we will post those asap in hopes potential adopters can see how much more relaxed he is these days (as compared to his first photos).
