Rizzo is a previous breeder dog used for profit. However, we do believe she has spent time in her home at some point in her life. She is affectionate, walks well on a leash and does good in the car.

Rizzo's absolute most favorite thing is toys and the more annoying the squeak the better! She will carry around her toys and do zoomies with them and bring her so much joy! She also does well with other dogs and would like a canine companion in her new home.

The next favorite thing is treats and will eagerly take them when offered. She enjoys being with her person and hanging out on the couch with them or going for a walk.

Foster mom says she is a perfect lady and will make someone very happy!

Rizzo's adoption is $315. She is spayed, received a dental, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
