My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOB:

Have you been searching for the perfect family companion?🐶 Looking for a dog to follow you around the farm or vast property?
🐷 Bob Barker is your guy. With his stunning brindle coat and gorgeous hazel eyes, people stop him everywhere he goes just to give a compliment🤩

Bob is approximately 2 years and 8 months old. He is about 60 pounds with a fun energy and a great play style. Bob is best suited for a home because of his active life style. Bob will need secure land to roam with a fence🐕❤️

Fall in LOVE with BOB here:

Bob is a very social guy. He lives in a home with several dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds!🐾 He enjoys his social life with dogs and makes friends very easy! He also enjoys his people friends!🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️He is a very friendly guy and loves all people! Bob would do best in a home with older children or dog savvy kids! No small children please! Bob is not cat friendly but he makes up for it in his friendliness to others!❤️

Bob enjoys saying hi to all his farm friends which includes the dogs, horses and the chickens!🐴🐓 In fact, he loves the chickens so much, he will even share food with them!!!🦴 Crazy! Bob is very adaptable and go with the flow. He is great at reading the room. Such a good boy🥰

Bob is extremely intelligent and will be a fun dog to train! He picks up on things very fast. He knows his basic commands which are sit and stay. His recall is also wonderful!😍 He is very active and loves to explore to these commands will come in handy! Just make sure to keep up the repetitions! He is amazing in the car and loves to stick his snout out of the window!🚗 Loves to feel the breeze in his fur! He would make a great adventure companion for anyone!🌲

Bob enjoys spending his days swimming🏊He loves the water. His foster dad says he’s like a fish! Bob would love to have a home that enjoys the water just as much as he does! He is a big pool, lake, river and ocean boy🌊 Any sort of activity and he is in! Especially his ball or stick!🎾

Bob loves to play with his humans. He is extremely interactive. He loves to play fetch, bring you his toys, tag along wherever you go, or lay with you on the couch. He is very connected to his humans❤️ He loves to give hugs and kisses and let you know just how much he loves you. He is too sweet! He enjoys watching tv with his foster parents, snuggle up on the couch, and relax. Or while you’re working, give him a beef marrow bone and he will lay by your feet all day! He is so well mannered in the home🏡

Anyone would be so lucky to adopt Bob Barker. He is so well behaved, great family dog, and a wonderful companion! Apply now for Bob!🥰🐶❤️

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks:

• 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)
• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)
• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan
• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan
• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco
• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
