Thank you for your interest in adopting. Maple lives in an Alabama foster home and will transport to her family when she is adopted. We will put you in touch with Maples foster for FaceTime to see her in real time.
Maple was found stray in rural Alabama in an area that is known as a dumping ground for people who discard their dogs. She was underweight and had a skin issue from fleas, that is healing and will grow back to 100%. She’ll never have fleas again.
Mabel is crate trained. She had long toenails when she was found so it’s possible she was over crated. She is wonderful in the house and does not bother anything. Once she gets to know you, she becomes very playful, hopping like a bunny, wanting to play like a puppy!
This is truly a wonderful dog, and we will never understand why someone abandoned her.
Maple lives in a foster home with other dogs, but her personality is dominant with dogs so we would prefer that she go to a home the only dog. She will love to get all of the attention. She’s great on a leash, but she’s happiest by your side.
Maple is spayed, heartworm negative, rabies, Bordetella, vaccinated, dewormed, and receiving flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Adoption fee $585.00 total. The fee includes transportation to New England at $175, we do not own the van service and have to pay for every dog that we send out of state. Puppy also sees a vet for a health check and health certificate at a cost of $65 at the vet. He’s worth it!
