Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chester!
Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your home? Chester, our handsome ginger cat with a distinguished orange soul-patch and an adorable, tiny, white mustache, is on the lookout for his forever family. He also has spectacular dark orange eyes!
Chester was found wandering as a scared/shy stray. He is a 3-year-old playful little rascal who adores toys and can turn any mundane day into a fun adventure. He's got a carefree attitude-absolutely no interest in working on making biscuits-just pure fun! He's also a master of head butts, always ready to show affection in his own unique way. When he's really happy, Chester has a special little two-step dance that will steal your heart. He loves chin rubs and head pets-he loves attention when approached slowly. While he loves to frolic, he's still a bit shy around loud noises, so a calm and cozy environment would suit him best.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet, playful companion, Chester is the kitty for you. Come meet Chester and let him charm his way into your life!
Chester is currently hanging out in a foster home. His foster mom says he gets along well with the resident cats. Please call or email to schedule a meet and greet with this wonderful guy! (Email info@monroecountyfriendsofanimals.org or 423-436-2900). Bring a carrier....He's waiting for you! Indoor ONLY, fully vetted $50 adoption fee.

More about this shelter
A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
