Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear...
But not our Loo! This island boy is all about laid-back vibes and friendly tail wags. Fresh off the sunny shores of the Bahamas, Loo is adjusting to the strange ways of our bustling city life and the absence of the ocean’s rhythmic waves.
He enjoys calm, leisurely walks and is making strides in building his confidence. Although a bit timid at the moment, Loo's gentle nature and friendly demeanor make him a perfect companion. He’s great with other dogs and would thrive in a home that understands his need for a little patience and a lot of love.
Picture yourself strolling with Loo, his soft eyes full of gratitude, and his quiet charm warming your heart. If you’re ready to offer him a forever home, come meet Loo at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue—where every paw has a story, and every story has a new beginning.
Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!
Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
