Meet Vivica, the 3-year-old pitbull with a heart as big as her smile! This super happy girl, affectionately known as our "house hippo," is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people. Vivica gets along great with dogs of all sizes, adores children, and is a dream on the leash and in the car. She only barks to let you know someone special has arrived!

Vivica's journey hasn't been easy. She came very close to losing her life in a south Texas shelter, but we were able to save her and her baby. Now, we're on a mission to find her the best home where she can continue to spread joy and love. Could you be the family she's been waiting for?

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
