My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo and Juliette are siblings and are bonded. They really enjoy playing together until they pass out snuggled next to each other. They love human attention and have loud purr boxes. They have been raised with other kittens and adult cats. They would adjust well in a home with dogs after a proper introduction. Gentle children would be fun too!

If you'd like more information on these sweet kittens, please email mariward76@gmail.com They will be at Pet Food Express, 5404 Clayton Rd, Concord on Saturday and Sunday from 10a-1:30p.

More about this rescue

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
