My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Bridgerton crew came from up north near the Canadian border, where Lady Whistledown was left behind when her owner moved. The kind neighbor took her in and gave her a safe place to have her babies. Benedict, Daphne, Colin, Gregory and Anthony are her 5 sweet babies.

Colin is a pure black kitten, one of 4 boys in the family and is a bit shy still. He comes right out when the foster enters the room and is curious but a bit cautious. He would love to be adopted into a home with other cats. He has a birthdate of 052824. He is now out of the foster room and spends time around the other cats and a small dog in the home. He is still a bit shy but with time he will gain more confidence.

He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. He will come with a sample of the food he has been eating and his medical records. His adoption fee is $100 as a single kitten or the same price if adopted with a sibling. Thank you for considering Colin!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
