My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jordon is a cute mix breed that will be perfect size companion for outdoor adventures or play in the yard. He has a goofy, bouncy personality and loves to play with kids and other dogs. He is curious of new situations but not overly fearful, especially when yummy treats are incorporated. He is so gentle and sweet he will make such a wonderful part of any family.
A little of his back story :
Jordon was dropped off at a rural shelter by the Arizona / New Mexico border when he was only 3 weeks old. Luckily, a foster skilled at bottle feeding and weening was available for him and his two siblings. So there is no info we can provide about parents. But luckily he survived and was able to grow and thrive.

At Rachel's rescue we strive to provide puppies with all puppies need to get their best start and that sometimes includes a mother figure to teach puppies appropriate doggy social skills. We have several amazing dogs that we consider super moms who are spayed and do not have to go through having any more litters but help us guide and teach orphan pups the social ropes. That being said, we accepted little Jordon and his brothers into the rescue where they could continue to grow to be happy and healthy both physically and mentally. Jordon has absolutely thrived in his foster home with his doggy and human foster mommas but is ready and eagerly waiting a family of his very own.

Additional adoption info

We strive to make the best matches between our animals and adoptive families. On dogs over a year of age we offer a 7 day trial / foster to adopt option in order for families and dogs to experience daily life and further determine if the dog/family is a good match. However, we will take back any previously adopted animals or assist families in finding homes in unforeseen circumstances that occur that the family is unable to keep the dog adopted from our rescue. We also offer continued contact and support to families of our animals when needed such as training suggestions, recommendations for vets/trainers as well as simply sharing life updates as we truly value and deeply love every animal that comes through our lives and rescue.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue that loves animals and strives to give dogs, puppies and other animals the best chance at the life possible. The core value of our rescue is to love and cherish all animals that need care, training and a home to live out their lives. Our rescue is dedicated to our beloved daughter Rachel who lost her life by a gun shot June 4, 2022. She had such a love for all animals and wanted to see that all were loved. We will continue to help animals in need in honor of our daughter.
