My name is Coffee Cake!

Hello everyone!
I'm Coffee Cake, a 5 year old purebred Lilac Colourpoint British Shorthair kitty born in jolly old England. I'm a beautiful boy and I even have a proper pedigree name "Chunkychops Coffee Cake"! My foster Mum just calls me Cakey, and I'm just as sweet as my name.
My big brother is Cream Puff - check out his profile! We've always been together, and because I'm a little bit on the shy side, I rely on my big brother to help me explore the world and he helps me try new things when I'd rather stay as a quiet observer. I'm cautious but inquisitive, and though it it takes me a little while to settle into new surroundings, once I trust you I'm the sweetest affectionate and loyal boy. Cream Puff and I have been on quite a journey together since we were kittens, lending each other courage when things got a little scary. We've literally crossed oceans together, and now we find ourselves in the wonderful care of BARS looking for a family who will love us and keep us forever. We promise to fill your home with gentle purrs, soft paw pats, and the sweetest companionship. We're true to our British Shorthair personality type - we're not big on being picked up and carried around - we prefer to lounge next to you rather than on your lap, but we're amazingly loyal and not demanding or overly vocal.
