My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing… the fire kittens!

The fire babies joined POUNCE a couple weeks ago. The babies are from our Dalke colony and are Dalke #10’s babies. Hopefully this will be the very last litter ever born at Dalke!

They were initially quite spicy, but have come around very well! They are now all very social and sweet. All the kittens have been healthy since having initial URI symptoms. Cinder has been diagnosed with a very mild form of CH (Cerebellar hypoplasia) it has not affected any of the other kittens.

Ash has a loud purr and loves to snuggle. While he loves to play, he loves pets and scratches just as much! He is fearless and would fit into a active household easily.

The fire crew is about 8 weeks old and will be spayed/neutered on 7/14/24 and then will be ready to go to their forever homes! Each kitten will come spayed or neutered, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (including registration). The adopt fee for one kitten is $100 or $150 for a pair! Kittens do so much better in pairs! If you are interested in adopting one of these cuties, please submit an application today!

Transport is available to approved adopters throughout the PNW!

Additional adoption info

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
