My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

STEVEN

This brave canine hasn’t had it easy in life, running loose and fending for himself for about a month before he was finally rescued. Initially, he was terrified of humans, which is understandable. When we brought him home, our sweet boy immediately revealed his true nature, showing us just how special he truly is. Despite the hardships he faced, he has become the epitome of love and affection.

He adores snuggles! There is nothing he loves more than curling up in your lap for some quality cuddle time. Prepare for your heart to melt as his big, soulful eyes gaze up at you with pure adoration!

To keep this clever canine entertained, all you need is a few toys and some bones. He's always up for a game of fetch or a chew session, and his goofy energy will give you regular laughs.
Plus, his amazing compatibility with other dogs means he would be an excellent addition to a multi-pet household, bringing harmony and wagging tails all around.

Steven is perfect in every way, from his adorable appearance to his heart of gold & will come neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is approximately 10 months old and weighs roughly 32 pounds. He is good with kids and cats.

Additional adoption info

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
