My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darjeeling and the rest of the Teas joined POUNCE after they were found in medical lake at a local motel. Mama Jasmine was social and had had her babies 4 days prior to the crew coming to us.

Darjeeling is the kind of kitty who wants to be an active participant in whatever you are doing. He is carefree, playful, and ready to romp in the day’s activities. If you’re looking for a mini house panther to share your life with and keep you entertained, then Darjeeling is your kind of kitty.

Here’s the Tea

All of these lovely felines have great litter box manners, do well with other cats, and would likely adjust to dogs and kids just fine! They have been 100% healthy through the duration of their POUNCE stay and have been such a delight.

Darjeeling has an estimated birthday of 4/20/24. He will come neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped (including registration). His adoption fee is $65 for him or $100 for him and a friend!

Transport is available to approved adopters throughout the PNW!

‍ We do require either adopting a pair or having another cat in the home for the sake of the kittens. Darjeeling lives in foster with brother Ceylon as well as Coal, Charlie, Lulu, & Jalapeño. Please take this into consideration before applying! ‍

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
