Extremely smart and highly curious, give a warm welcome to Palatine, a 2-year old, 42-podiums Retriever/Lab/Shepherd mix whose capacity for love is as warm and intense as her beautiful big brown eyes.

Pal is…well…a pal to everyone. After an initial brief assessment, Palatine seems to like people of all ages as well as all other dogs. She is equal parts playful and cuddly, and she absolutely loves going for walks. Palatine is fully housebroken and working on improving her leash-walking skills. She is generally well-mannered when out for a walk, but she sometimes pulls when that nose of hers detects something fascinating to smell.

Pal responds to the commands sit, look, go get it, and come…with the potential to add many more words and phrases to her vocabulary. Cheese or jerky treats do wonders to grab her attention, and this eager-to-please youngster wants nothing more than to show you how clever she is.

Though active while outdoors, at home Pal is content to quietly relax, hang out on the couch with you, or gnaw on a bone while resting in her dog bed. She also really really loves being pet! Pal is happiest when in the company of others, where her goofiness, sense of humor, affection for others, and big personality are all on full display.

A stunning, stable, solid girl, Pal has a heart of gold and would make an ideal companion/family pet for anyone looking for a young spirited dog. All Pal wants is a family who will cherish and adore her, the same way she will cherish and adore them in return. Awwwww!
