My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We were fortunate to rescue a pitiful mother that we named Betty Lou along with 6 full St. Bernard puppies that are from AKC parents. These puppies had been living outside since birth, the owners kept the mom and dad outside full time. No one knew the mom was pregnant again. She gave birth to them in the woods behind their property and in time brought each puppy up to the owner’s house. A relative to the owner of the mom and dad realized how much medical attention these dogs were in need of and how severe their medical needs were. The mom, Betty Lou, has approximately 50% hair loss on all of her body. She is an older mom and should not have had another litter this late in her life. The puppies had some of the worst mange we have ever seen over the 23 years of rescuing dogs. Their hair loss and main affected areas were on their face and around the eyes. Most of the puppies had complete hair loss in the facial area.
After many weeks of 24/7 care, these puppies are now to the point that they are available for adoption. The male puppies will all be neutered on July 31st. At that time, they will receive their last vaccinations and should be ready to go to new homes by August 15th. The approximate weight of each puppy is 25 pounds, except for thew little runt boy which is about 15 pounds. They are all breathtakingly beautiful, sweet and kind. They are 100% poop house trained already but are about 50% potty trained. When they are adopted, they will be neutered, current on all vaccinations but they are too young for heartworm tests.

In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $400.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Saint Bernards can not tolerate the Texas heat.
