Meet Lorenzo, the cutest, most loving puppy! Lorenzo is a sensitive doggy and is shy when you first meet him. However, with a few pets and some treats, he'll fall in love with you very quickly!

Lorenzo loves walks in a quiet neighbourhood where he has all the time to sniff everything! Puzzles, lick mats, and slow feeders are great to keep him mentally stimulated. As Lorenzo loves his food, he'll have a great time learning new tricks and commands.

Lorenzo can be shy, which is why loud and noisy environments might intimidate him a little. However, he's been working with his foster family to overcome this and has been doing great meeting new people.

Currently, Lorenzo is being fostered with a doggy and cat siblings, and has been doing great with them! Having another furry companion can help Lorenzo become more confident, but he does enjoy chasing the cat. He can be a great companion to a cat if the cat is confident and can stand up for itself! He has also met kids and has done very well with them. He is shy at first but is very gentle around them.

If you're looking for a puppy with lots of energy to spare, Lorenzo is the dog for you! This sensitive little man is perfect for a foster family who has lots of affection to give.

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
