I am looking to rehome my dog Loki. My husband adopted him from a rescue organization when he was 6 months old. He will be 3 on July 29th. He and my husband were together all the time. He was a semi driver and Loki went to work with him. My husband died suddenly in Dec of 2023. Loki was a happy dog and loved going to work in the big truck. He has been depressed since my husbands death. We lived in the country and had a big fenced in backyard . He always loved being with our grandchildren so I bought a house with my son and his family but he is not adjusting. He needs to be the only pet and he needs to be a companion and not a family pet. We had him DNA tested he is predominately a Treeing Walker Coonhound and he is a hunter. He is timid around strangers and doesnt like loud noises. He needs a calmer less chaotic home. He needs a lot of love and attention. He needs to be a companion. He knows all the basic commands.
