We must have an application to move forward.
In foster in Lacey, WA
PARKER is the cool one of the bunch…happy and playful. DOB 3/1/24. We see some hound in Parker…although his mother is definitely part Australian Shepherd. We expect he will get to be 40-50# when grown. Parker is the very sweet dog…inquisitive and loves attention and loves water. He will make a great family dog and companion. He currently has had other animals around him while living on the ranch…like a donkey, goats, sheep, and pigs. He’s also seen and been around several cats. Although he’s not made deep friendships with any of these, he’s at least seen them and gone nose-to-nose with them.
Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying.
Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
