Now accepting applications for Yoda! Yoda is a 14-month-old neutered male husky mix. If you are interested in meeting Yoda please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to his handsome face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Yoda to be sure he is the right fit for you. If after meeting him you decide he is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Yoda was a giant puppy when he first arrived a couple of months ago, he loves every person he meets and struggled not to launch himself onto everyone he meets. The staff have been working really hard with Yoda to sit before leaving his kennel, sit for his meals, not pull on the leash when walking and he has come a long way since day one. Yoda has never lived on a farm but could adapt to country living, but would also be a good city dog. He is not an excessive barker will alert of anything out of the ordinary. Yoda is a fairly tall boy about mid-thigh in height and weighs 30.9 kg/ 67.9 lbs. Yoda has lived with young children and loves them. Cats however are a no go for Yoda. If you have another dog a meet and greet would be necessary. Yoda's adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule and microchipped.
