Hey there, I’m Dexter!
At just 7 months old, I’m already the total package! I weigh 27 pounds of pure sweetness, and I’ve got the perfect mix of playful energy and independence. I’m still a puppy, so I’m learning new things every day—and I’m a fast learner! I already know some basic commands.
I get along great with cats and kids, so I’ll fit right into a family with little ones or furry friends. I’ve got that fun, goofy side that will make you laugh, but I also know how to be sweet and respectful when it’s time to chill out.

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

The Fulton County Animal Services shelter is open seven days a week:
Monday – Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
