My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Welcome to the Family Madrigal! The home of the Family Madrigal! I know it sounds a bit fantastical and magical but I'm part of the Family Madrigal!"(Encanto) Born on New Year's Eve in 2022, this litter of puppies is a mix batch of love. They are full of playful energy and enjoy running, jumping, and climbing on any and everything they can. Mirabel is blonde & white; having no gift as of yet, this sweet girl wants to add magic to her family. This sweet young lady is spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and is on heartworm/flea prevention. Mirabel does well with dogs her size (around 35 pounds) or larger, but can not be around cats or chickens. If you are ready to see what magical gift you can add to your family, you can adopt Mirabel into your heart for $150. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside-especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out" or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced in yard.**

More about this rescue

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
