Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
From his current foster:
Felix is a fun-loving tuxedo with a wisp of white on his nose.
Felix always wants to be a part of the action. If something's happening and it doesn't involve Felix, just wait 10 seconds and that will change. He enjoys pets and often checks in with his person. He's not really a lap cat, but he will often hang out next to you for a few minutes before relocating close by. He checks in with his person in bed. Though he may not start the night in bed with you, he is usually laying next to you when you wake up.
Felix enjoys when his person teleworks, and he has an uncanny ability to flop down on the keyboard regardless of where it is set.
Felix loves all toys and often entertains himself with one of the many available toys. He has especially enjoyed wand toys and the laser pointer.
Felix gets along well with his fellow foster kitten, Skedaddle. He was so happy to have a playmate closer to his age join him in his foster home and he quickly bonded with him. They chase each other all over the house, conduct impromptu wrestling matches, spill water bowls, and groom each other.
Felix also quickly adjusted to being around the older resident cats in his foster home. He enjoys interacting with the friendliest resident cat and he has mostly earned the trust of the other resident cats. Despite a few warnings, he has even been found napping with the grumpiest resident cat, who always prefers his own space but hasn't left when he found Felix hanging out next to him.
Felix talks a little bit, though he's not super chatty.
He'll definitely let you know when he's tired of being sequestered in his own room at meal times.
Felix has not been dog tested in his current foster home.
Felix did OK with a 10-year old girl. He wasn't especially fond of being picked up, moved around, and herded, but he preferred to walk away instead of scratching or biting.
Felix is a litterbox pro.
Felix is a confident cat and should do great with an unfamiliar cat as long as it is open to his energy level. He would probably do OK as an only cat too, but he will require a lot of attention and play time.
Hi! I'm Felix! I'm from Texas!

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
