Hey Y'all! My name is Honey and I'm the sweetest 1.5yr old female German Shepherd you'll meet! I'm located near Greeneville TN and am available for transport.

Some awful people dumped me on the side of the road where I was left to starve to death. I was severely underweight when some nice people found me and transferred me into the care of IDGSR! I've gained weight, am eating like a champ, am healthy, and now ready to find my forever home!!

1. I am friendly, playful, and so very resilient! Considering my past, I've learned to love and trust hoomans again.

2. I play well with other nice large breed male and female dogs. I hope you have a fenced in yard for me to play in, I love to run and stretch my legs! I'm also CAT TOLERANT!! This is a big deal for a big girl like me!

3. One of my favorite pastimes is to follow my foster mom around the kitchen in hopes she drops something for me to clean up! I make a GREAT sous chef if you like cooking!

4. I'm ready to be treated like a princess! I'm talking the works: a comfy bed, lots of treats, quality food, fluffy toys for me to play with, bones to chew, a backyard to explore, and to be taken on adventures!

5. I'm a smart girl but could use an obedience refresher. This will help us bond together and prove I'm the smartest and bestest girl around!

6. I'm a good listener. Did you know that if you tell me your deepest darkest secrets, I won't tell anyone! I promise! I'm also great at listening to all of your highs and lows, I'll even give you kisses if you're sad.

7. I hope you are a nice and loving person or family. I'm ready to give my love to someone who will love me forever!!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
