Cassidy is a sweet girl who is eager to thrive in a loving home!
Cassidy is a beautiful cat looking for a loving and patient forever home with an adopter who will continue working with her to build her confidence. Having likely spent most of her life as a stray, Cassidy can be cautious around people but has made tremendous progress in becoming less shy and skittish. She will allow pets when she feels relaxed and comfortable.
ABOUT CASSIDY: - At shelter - Adult, domestic shorthair (calico), female - She recently graduated from EHS’s socialization program, where she gained a lot of confidence with people. - With a gentle approach, she enjoys pets on her face—especially her chin!—but is less enthusiastic about being touched below her shoulders. - Cassidy asks for food by charmingly licking her nose. - While in her foster home, she enjoyed watching backyard animal activity from the window. - She stretches out and sleeps when she`s alone and relaxed, and her favourite cozy spot is on the cat tree. - Cassidy is vocal, often chatting and chirping when she`s happy. - She is starting to enjoy toys and discovering the joy of playtime. - Cassidy is spayed, house-trained, not declawed, microchipped, and has received core vaccinations.
CASSIDY’S IDEAL HOME: - A skittish cat like Cassidy will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children or dogs. Their energy and sudden movements would be overwhelming for her. - Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Cassidy settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Cassidy with a successful transition to her forever home. - She currently shares her space with feline companions but would be fine as an only pet.
