Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fable is a sweet 2 year-old terrier/shar-pei mix. She loves life and people! Fable is very playful and extremely smart, she learned the sit command on her first day in her foster home! She is fully house-trained too. Fable loves taking walks and is great on the leash. She is so curious on her adventures and always gets so many compliments on being such a beautiful mix and a good girl. Fable enjoys her toys, loves chasing balls and her squeaky toys. Her foster says she is a terrific house guest. She sleeps in her crate all night and patiently waits for her foster family to wake up. She does well when her foster family is gone and lays right by her foster's feet while working. Fable loves other dogs and kids and loves giving kisses!

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.

We arrange in-person meet and greets with our foster families once an applicant is approved as long as the dog is local and if not local, then the meet and greet will be done virtually.

Pep's Pals is named after Pepper, a lab who gave so much love to the founder of Pep's Pals and her family. We carry on his legacy by loving and caring for the dogs & cats who need to know what it is like to be a part of a family. Pepper was kind to every human and fur friend he met. We believe that's how Pepper would want us to carry out our mission.
