My name is Miles! I am so happy to have this opportunity! A little about me!: Firstly, I am so fortunate to be alive. I was rescued from a culvert along with my two siblings. Our rescuers worked so hard to bring the three of us to safety, we were so scared, but they didn't give up. They crawled in to reassure us that we would be okay and through some diligence they managed to get all three of us out and into safety. Now that those scary, uncertain days of survival are behind us, I am longing to be part of a family. I KNOW that I will be an incredible best friend to my new human that adopts me because I have SO much love to give and I love the company of human companionship. My caregivers here at the rescue back me up in that statement, I've heard them say myself that they have no doubt I will be such a loving companion. I literally just melt when I am petted. And if it's okay with you, I would love to curly up beside you with my head in your lap. My wish is that my new family will be patient and help me learn the ropes of the big, wide world and that when I get scared because everything is new to me that my humans show me kindness and reassurance. I look to my human when I am uncertain and if you are a kind, patient person who doesn't mind me wanting to be by your side, then we may just be the perfect match. I will need some help learning all about the leash but my determination to be loved by a family is so great that I will learn quickly if you are patient with me. I am shy, but I am happy, sweet and very affectionate. I am here, waiting....and hoping.....that my special someone comes along soon so we can begin sharing our lives together. Maybe it's you reading this right now. I am neutered, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. I'm estimated to have been born around July 2023. For an application to adopt or foster me, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org
I have my paws crossed.
Yours truly,
Miles
P.S. I am available to be fostered, too!

We are dedicated to ensuring that our dogs go to a "forever" loving, nurturing home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
