My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Seamus was found abandoned on a road. He is a cuddly, playful boy who gets along great with other dogs. It's not known how he will get along with children and cats, because he's never been around either, but from his personality, we expect he'll do fine with both.

Seamus is pee pad trained but not truly housebroken yet. He's not yet neutered, but either will be prior to adoption, or part of the adoption fee will be refunded after proof of neutering.

To find out more about Seamus, or arrange a time to see him, please call Alana at (417) 631-5201

More about this rescue

We began by rescuing Welsh Corgis (both Cardigan and Pembroke) and then Great Danes. Then we took some Corgi mixes to keep them from being euthanized, and eventually accepted some other dogs, and took in the occasional cat.

We largely stepped back from rescue in 2012, but continue to take in a few animals at a time and find homes for them. Currently, we are taking in unwanted animals from the Rio Grande Valley and finding them homes, which is why you will see dogs that have nothing to do with either Corgis or Great Danes listed.

All animals are vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to adoption, with very few exceptions.
